Oh, how I despise body hair! What purpose does it serve? Why hasn’t it been genetically phased out at this point in time? Indeed, I am not a fan of the fuzz, in fact, I have always hated the hair not on my head and face.
I may be luckier than most men, in that I do not have back hair. Not much chest hair, either, save for some around the nipple area and a few strays just below my neck. Beyond that, I could potentially play Chewbacca’s stunt double. Ok, that’s hyperbole, but I am quite hairy. My legs, arms, belly, feet, hands, and even the good ol’ unibrow have been the object of my disdain for most of my life, until I found ways to rid myself of these unwanted visitors.
There are many great tips out there for crossdressers, and while my blog is not particularly aimed at giving advice, I do like to share when I can. Perhaps you can try my regimen or at least pick up a few pointers to use somehow in the future. Below, I will share my steps for removing my body hair in order to feel more feminine.
Eyebrows: The aforementioned unibrow has long been vanquished, thanks to the wonders of waxing. In 2000, I began waxing just the middle part of my eyebrows, in an effort to shed the crazy unibrowster look. After a few years, I began arching them, as this is an accepted style in Puerto Rican culture. See, my eyebrows look great in guy and girl mode, and I am really proud that the one ugly eyebrow has become two beautiful individuals.
I now get them threaded about every 2 weeks, sometimes I do find that they grow back at a faster rate.
Legs: Ever the leg hair hater, I have been trimming them with a hair clipper on guard #2 for about 10 years now. I just always felt that my excessively hairy legs made me look like really sloppy when wearing shorts. The curl up and just look disgusting to me, so using the clippers to trim them would at least leave them falling straight on my leg, a very notable improvement.
I took the guard off in 2004 and completed my first complete leg shaving to extreme delight. While my legs weren’t completely smooth, they looked bare in the photos that my wife took that day. So that was my new routine, shaving without the guard every few months, but never consistent.
Well, I decided to reward myself a couple of months ago, and went for my first waxing. I decided to wax because I did try shaving very carefully with a razor, but no matter what I did I kept getting ingrown hairs and painful red bumps. The technician did an excellent job and I have to say that waxing my legs was the ultimate in terms of look and feeling.
Even after waxing, I still can’t take a razor to my legs, as these bumps and ingrown hairs will come back with a vengeance. So I have decided to get them waxed every month.
Arms: I don’t mind my arm/armpit hair as much, so I just trim it much like I used to trim my legs, with clippers. However, I may get them waxed in the future to find out how it feels to have them completely smooth.
Hands and Feet: This hair is possibly my most hated! I did try shaving with both razor and clippers, but just wasn’t satisfied with the results. Then, I decided to try an at-home waxing kit that I picked up from Walgreens. It was actually easier than I expected, and I loved the results.
If I don’t maintain these habits, then I have to add at least an extra hour to my time needed to transform into Jessica, so I try to keep up with this regimen. It actually makes an enormous difference between being dressed up and hair versus being smooth.

Ugh, body hair. The tranny nightmare.
My arms aren't too bad, although in winter I can afford to keep them smooth. Waxing works as does an elipator… although a tad noisy.
> that I do not have back hair
Give it a few years

NOOOOOOOO!!
hehehehe
Yea, I do love the effects of waxing and I don't really mind the pain, as I can tolerate it fine.
I also sometimes use the Norelco Bodygroom, although it did break and I need to get a new one soon.
Girl, I have the body hair of a Jersey longshoreman. It’s everywhere, and thick. I, too, trim closely on the arms, but then I bleach them. The hair is far less visible.
The razor irritation is terrible, but a friend turned me on to witch hazel. Go over your legs right after shaving, and they don’t get nearly as angry. Also, I’ve found that wearing pantyhose cuts down the friction that causes the rashes and ingrown hairs. Of course, I’d be wearing pantyhose regardless, but it helps a lot.
lol @ Jersey longshore man, I read your hilarious first post about body hair and chuckled a lot!
I’ll have to try the witch hazel sometime to see how it works for me.
i am a chick and i'm actually going to try a couple of these tips. i've tried waxing once (myself) and it hurt like a MOTHER!! never again. though i don't have the hair of a man, i am from the "Mediterranian Hair Belt" (Middlesex, anyone?) so i can sympathize enough
good luck.

As a person of Mediterranean descent myself, I am limited in my wardrobe choices. I need high collars and long sleeves unless I want to soak in a bathtub full of Nair. My legs don’t seem to grow all that much, so it’s easy to keep them smooth and clean. These tips are very helpful, though. Thanks!
Oh I’ve always hated the hair… when I was younger I thought pulling on it frequently enough would make it not grow — yeah that didn’t work. I started shaving my legs about 2 years ago. A lifelong ambition (only 36 now but it seemed liked I’d never get to do it). Then I decided chest and arms had to go too. Wow!!! It is sooo amazing!!! Wish that crap would just stay gone. The witch hazel sounds like an interesting experiment. Although I’m building up the courage to get a full body wax. As Leslie Ann said, wearing pantyhose does help cut down on the rash and ingrown on the legs and lower abdomen — ummm, but yes I’d still be wearing them too regardless.
