jessica, im a crossdresser but have been having a very hard time with my brows. they are semi thick brows. I have tried three methods: concealer then draw brows; a wax product to cover them with clown make up then drawn ; and heavy make up. All have failed, and look unnatural. Worst of all, I went out and they faked off. It was funny but disappointing at the same time. Do you have a suggestion for me. Now, I do not want to shave or pluck because, I live almost full time in guy persona. So whatever I do I need to get back my eyebrow shape to normal at the end of the night. It sucks living in such a "label" happy world. Last do you go out to social gathering aside from your comedy gigs. I would like to hang out at club or restaurant, you are funny and very positive. thanks. bs

Oh I've always hated the hair... when I was younger I thought pulling on it frequently enough would make it not grow -- yeah that didn't work. I started shaving my legs about 2 years ago. A lifelong ambition (only 36 now but it seemed liked I'd never get to do it). Then I decided chest and arms had to go too. Wow!!! It is sooo amazing!!! Wish that crap would just stay gone. The witch hazel sounds like an interesting experiment. Although I'm building up the courage to get a full body wax. As Leslie Ann said, wearing pantyhose does help cut down on the rash and ingrown on the legs and lower abdomen --- ummm, but yes I'd still be wearing them too regardless. ;)

As a person of Mediterranean descent myself, I am limited in my wardrobe choices. I need high collars and long sleeves unless I want to soak in a bathtub full of Nair. My legs don't seem to grow all that much, so it's easy to keep them smooth and clean. These tips are very helpful, though. Thanks!

i am a chick and i'm actually going to try a couple of these tips. i've tried waxing once (myself) and it hurt like a MOTHER!! never again. though i don't have the hair of a man, i am from the "Mediterranian Hair Belt" (Middlesex, anyone?) so i can sympathize enough :) good luck.

-j

Girl, I have the body hair of a Jersey longshoreman. It's everywhere, and thick. I, too, trim closely on the arms, but then I bleach them. The hair is far less visible.

The razor irritation is terrible, but a friend turned me on to witch hazel. Go over your legs right after shaving, and they don't get nearly as angry. Also, I've found that wearing pantyhose cuts down the friction that causes the rashes and ingrown hairs. Of course, I'd be wearing pantyhose regardless, but it helps a lot.

> Give it a few years :-)

NOOOOOOOO!! :( hehehehe

Yea, I do love the effects of waxing and I don't really mind the pain, as I can tolerate it fine.

I also sometimes use the Norelco Bodygroom, although it did break and I need to get a new one soon.

Ugh, body hair. The tranny nightmare. :-) My arms aren't too bad, although in winter I can afford to keep them smooth. Waxing works as does an elipator... although a tad noisy.

> that I do not have back hair

Give it a few years :-)
