Mainstream Crossdressing: He’s A Lady (2004)

by Jessica De Leon on May 14, 2009

In 2004, TBS decided to create what is in my opinion the greatest reality show of all time. They tricked about a dozen regular, every day men into competing in what they thought would be a series of manly events that would determine the toughest guy, or something like that. What they didn’t know is that they would be subjected to an even tougher challenge, dressing like a lady!

In what ended up being one great episode after another, these dudes were subjected to everything from having their eyebrows waxed to standing up as bridesmaids in a wedding. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with this even though we normally do not watch reality shows. I found it funny that as time progressed, these guys’ feminine sides really started to blossom, whether it was jealousy over who looked the prettiest or just random catfights.

We were quite disappointed when season 2 never materialized, but here’s to holding out hope for the future!

Although not updated, TBS still keeps the site up here and if you want to relive all the classic moments Youtube user msrozen has them here.

Here is part one of episode one, to get you started. Enjoy!

This is the ONLY reality show I ever followed from start to finish – it was great. And I love that the “winner” wasn’t the most beautiful lady, but was a “true lady” – inside and out.

Same here, Julie! I rather despise reality TV , but couldn’t let this one fly under the radar. Yes, the winner was a true lady :)

Agree girls. A new concept would be for a father / son competition or mother / son
