Funny story Jess… Well, for me, there are lots and lots of fav drinks now-a-days. Although, I must say my first drinks back in HS were Bacardi Limon (of which I almost hate now b/c of previous abuse), and of course beer, the cheap crappy kind you would find at a HS party, lol. Both my wife & I did partake in the shenanigans that were going on at those parties in the early days… Although, we both hated beer untill 5 yrs ago or so. It was a nice summer day and the boys were doing a endurance kart race, so the girls had a case of the Silver-bullet to put down the hatch. That is the day she started drinking the hoppy stuff. For me, I started really loving beer just a few years ago after going on a ‘hefe-wiesse’ kick. I still love a great hefe brew… Now for the Pina’coladas, lol. I too liked the taste of the stuff, although a Vodka tonic used to be the drink of choice, but the cocunut flavored drink by itself is a bit weak by our tastes. Sooooo… a few years back while on the island of Kauai for our honeymoon, we came across this drink called a Lava Flow. The Lava Flow is basically a Pina Colada with a flow of Strawberry dachari down the middle and setteled at the bottom. It had regular Bacardi rum in it already, but it was a tadd on the soft side and you could bearly taste the alchohol. We asked the bartender to spice it up a bit, they said “sure how about a rum floater!?” I said, “That sounds great, do you have 151?” “Yup, we sure do”… Sweet! Ever since then, the drink is amazing and we have renamed it the “Lava Bomb”! Two of those and you are BOMBED….!

Yea, I only drink about once a month, and so one or two beers is more than enough for me to feel a good buzz. My wife calls me a cheap date

I tried and tried to like beer in my twenties. It never took. Vile, nasty stuff! But I could drink quite a lot of White Russians or Brandy Alexanders. They didn’t come with umbrellas, so I wasn’t too self-conscious. I hardly ever drink now, though, and don’t really miss it.

Just attended the San Diego International Beer Fest at the Del Mar Fair last Friday. They had 300 different beers on hand to sample. Needless to say, a couple ounce sample from all 300 would be a bit of a problem, but, I must say, I got my money’s worth by trying nearly every IPA available. Gotta love the craft beers being produced nowadays.

Beer drinking isn’t exactly a girly thing to do, but, I do indeed love my brew. I slip in the occasional rum and diet Coke with a slice of lime. Helps keep a more girlish figure. Beer bellies do very little to help the self image of most crossdressers.

@Savanna I absolutely LOVE fruity drinks, as I mentioned I have a prominent sweet tooth. Especially on vacations, they’re the best!

I was very similar back in high school and college. Except I was deathly afraid to admit that I liked “girl drinks” because of the associated stigma. I did not like beer at first and did eventually acquire the taste but I still like the fruity drinks too and it’s a good thing because now I’m gluten intolerant and can no longer stomach the beer, so to speak hah.

Beer? Well, back in the day I didn’t really like the taste. I’d prefer whisky or cocktails if given the chance. Well, so long as said cocktail has some booze in it

Now, I guess my tastes have changed in that I quite like a pint. Ale or stout please!

I’m a bit of a beer snob. We travel hundreds of miles just to go to brewerys. The best place for us to plan a trip around is http://www.beermapping.com. They have brewerys all across the US and many in other countrys to. Ale Fest in Chicago is in a week and a half, I think.
