Feeling Masculine & Feminine

by Jessica De Leon on July 29, 2009

Yin and Yang

Yesterday was an absolutely exhausting day. First, I had to move all of our furniture and boxes out of the moving truck and into the house. Second, as the plumbers were trying to fix the pipes and clear the clog yet again, they inadvertently sent sewage up into our bathroom, practically flooding it and our bedroom. Third, I helped another friend move his things into a new place.

I worked from the time I woke up all the way to about midnight, with only a few breaks. As I was cleaning, lifting and moving I kept thinking about how badly I just wanted to take a hot shower and relax in front of the TV. I also told my wife how I was longing to pamper myself when all of this was over.

You see, for the past few weeks I have been practically non stop. Over the weekend, we drove cross country from Chicago to Florida and once we arrived, there was even more to do.

During this time, my feet have become dry and my beard has grown in full-force. I’m perfectly fine being masculine when life demands it of me, as I’m very happy being a man. However, the duality of my gender expression is always prevalent. I have never felt completely male or female, it’s always somewhere in the middle for me.

I don’t like heavy lifting, in fact I’ll go out of my way and hire people to do it for me if I can, but if it’s necessary then this crossdresser will get it done. At this point, my whole body is aching and I want nothing more but a day at the spa to recover ;) .

As soon as possible, I’m going to try my best to make that happen, even if it’s at home. Any suggestions?

A hot bubble bath under candle-light, with soft music playing, while shaving everything, then tons of lotion afterward, and a makeover! :D

That’s what always makes me feel better anyways,…. after a bunch of boy-work. ;)

Welcome to the Sunshine State! Don’t mind the rain it will pass shortly. Hopefully you are not too far from a beach, because walking in the sand is like a free pedicure (not the polish part). Swimming in the ocean and getting the salt water on your face is like a free facial. Lastly, listen to the sound of waves and let it sooth your soul. I know as a former northerner myself it may take you some time to adjust to our state, but you will. In the meantime if you have any questions drop me a line.

Thanks for the warm welcome :) . Actually, I was raised in South Florida and went to undergraduate here, so I’m glad to be back home. I will miss Chicago, but not those cold winters! We are pretty far from the beach, but I will try to get out there as soon as I can, to relax by the ocean ;)
