Mainstream Crossdressing: KGB Commercial

by Jessica De Leon on September 24, 2009

Ah, the age-old “Guys make sports bet and loser has to dress like a girl” scenario. It just never gets old, and here we see KGB employing it to advertise their texting and answer service. I caught this on the television the other day and was reminded of the countless commercials, movies and shows I’ve seen where the defeated must don a skirt, cheerleader uniform or dress.

It starts off like many of these situations, differing opinions on sports fact. Usually, though, the bet is on the result of a game. As these two men debate as to who is right, the two KGB members stroll over.

Pay special notice to the woman and how lightning quick she is to suggest that the loser wears her clothes. Either she has a fetish of seeing dudes in drag or she just really wants to take her clothes off ;) .

The sports bar will never be the same :D .

I laughed when I first saw that commercial. I then thought about it and again cross dressing is being used for comedy and was not happy. I thought what if were another topic how would it be accepted? If they bet he had to wear black-face or some other minority stereo type?
