Hot Crossdressers & Transvestites

It’s summertime, which means skimpy outfits, trips to the beach and high temperatures. Which also means hot transvestites, crossdressers and drag queens.

If you want to read stories about crossdressers so blazing that they’re almost on fire, simply read on.

Now that I’ve got you’re attention :) , summer seems to be the consensus worst season for crossdressing. The heat can melt your makeup, make your scalp burn under that wig, and force you to wear less clothing.

There are several reasons that crossdressers shun the sun during the summer months, instead delaying their drag until the cooler months.

Skimpy Clothing

Normally, summertime is when women start wearing less clothing that shows more skin in order to keep cool. That’s great, if you have the body to pull off wearing less! Many transvestites use breast forms and hip / butt padding to achieve a more feminine shape. In turn, we must wear stuff that will effectively hide this from view.

Swimming and sun-bathing is a popular summertime activity, but many crossdressers don’t have the body to fill out a bathing suit. I’ve seen some of you out there wearing bathing suits and looking good, but the reality is that the majority of crossdressers just don’t do it.

Melty Makeup

Although we’d all love to be able to pull off a natural look with little to no makeup and still look good, many of us cannot. We’ve got spots to blend, beards to conceal and eyes to highlight to draw attention away from our beards! So we layer on the makeup and then layer it on some more until we get the look we want.

Unfortunately, going outside on a hot summer day can melt all of that hard work.

Wig Bake

Normally during the summer months you see women in ponytails and updos, trying to combat the heat. Even so, they complain about being hot because having all that extra hair makes it difficult to keep cool when outside.

Most crossdressers wear wigs, which in the summer double as heat trapping hats. Seriously, have you ever worn your wig outside on a sweltering day? You’re liable to pass out if you don’t find some air conditioned relief!

In The Closet

For those of us in the closet or self-concious about our feminine maintenance, summer is an enemy. Bare legs and arms are visible when you are wearing t-shirts and shorts. Painted nails have nowhere to hide if you’re rocking some trendy flip flops (chancletas).

Many CDs prefer the cooler months when their pants and socks can hide these things from the outside world.

You?

So, what is your favorite season for crossdressing? Do you shun the sun or brave the high temperatures — wig, forms, padding and all? Do you take measures against the heat like skimpier clothing and less makeup?

Or do you simply take a hiatus until the cooler months to get all dressed up in drag and explore the world?

In short, are you a ‘hot’ crossdresser ;) ?

Actually I’m not a crossdresser at all,but I do love them and as a makeup artist I am very good at transforming them into the woman of their dreams. Now where are the hot, steamy stories?

:) Put any crossdresser out in the sun and they’ll be hot and steamy in no time at all ;)

I’m a Florida girl. I have no choice. But I’ve found that good primer before putting on my makeup is key, and regular hits of loose powder to keep the shine down really helps as well.

I do find that I tend to shun my much loved hosiery though, and I definitely stick with looser, more flowy clothes.

Hi Jessica

Great blog and so very comprehensive, it contains all the reasons I think of why we girls don’t like to be out in the summer, but a few of us I think do try to get out there when we can. Of course summer in the UK is not quite like Florida heat!!

I guess what I do like in the summer are the light flimsy skirts and no need of coats and it is lovely to walk along the beach when there is a sea breeze. My tips would be to wear a little less make-up though I take on board your points above and to wear your shortest, lightest wig, preferably without a wig cap.

But I think you are right. It is more comfortable and it is easier to draw less attention to ourselves in the Autumn/Winter months when it is cooler, the nights draw in and we can get our boots, coats and scarves on!! Brr!!

Hugs Tina x

Hi Tina,

Thanks! Great tips, I appreciate you sharing them. Yea, I think it’s easier to blend in when you can pile on more layers of clothes and hide those shoulders :)

Summertime + wig = “Help me, I’m melting!” :)

I prefer Autumn as a rule…. or late Spring. The Fall is cooler, obviously, and I prefer the fashions for that time. I think they are more trans friendly – heeled boots, opaque tights and the run up to the Christmas party means a wealth of lovely new clothes! :)

Fall/Winter fan here! And it’s almost that time again! We used to go out about once a month, but we haven’t gone out yet since Be All, just too hot.

Same here :) ! Yep, the weather will start getting a bit cooler soon, but not too cold in Florida like in Chicago :)

This global warming appears to be curbing my style during the summer months. Not only do I like the cooler weather for dressing up but I also like the styles better. Shirts, sweaters, pant suits etc. One has a hard time thinking what to wear next. Boots, strappy sandals, heels, has the weather changed yet?

I’m lucky… NO WIG! I have long hair down to the middle of my back. :)

As for the makeup tips… Even here in the Pacific NW, it still gets hot enough to melt the best of the babes!

Powders instead of creams. Make sure you moisturize your face well.

Again, I am one of the lucky ones… I can wear anything, but I do keep it modest. One piece in public areas, bikini at home! :)
