The Simpsons is an iconic show and has accomplished many extraordinary feats. Though I must admit that I don’t usually watch the newer episodes, I tuned in this past Sunday because they were doing an Mixed Martial Arts parody.
Toward the end of the episode, I saw what is probably the most genuinely sweet motivation to crossdress, protecting a loved one. You see, Marge wants to put a stop to the ultimate fighting league and agrees to a fight with the promoter because if she wins, he will shut it down.
The family is against Marge entering into such a violent contest that could leave her badly hurt, so Homer shows up to the stadium dressed as his wife! It’s a very sweet moment and I really enjoyed it, so I found the episode and edited it to highlight that specific clip, I hope you like it 
!

Awesome, I’ve always been able to relate to Homer to an extent, possibly because I’m convinced he’s retarded. This is a bonding moment.

I don’t go to HULU that often, like you I sort of wandered away from the newer episodes, even though they have some GREAT moments, but I’ll watch this one later today.

Yea, every once in a while I’ll enjoy a new Simpsons episode, this was one of them
Sorry if you already referenced this in another “Mainstream crossdressing” edition, but it’s funny that the simpsons would use both gender bending and fighting in a story, because Futurama had an episode where Bender was in a robot fighting league that he discovered was rigged, and they wanted to destroy his popularity so they changed his wrestling character into the “Gender Bender” which included fighting in a pink tutu.
It’s always refreshing to see cross dressing used in a way that is NOT just cheap laughs, but a genuinely touching moment. – - – AND very funny at the same time!
