When I commemorated the six month anniversary of Jessica Who, I mentioned that there were many surprises on the way and while I have revealed a couple, I realize that they have not been ultra exciting — until now. For the past couple of months I have been carefully planning my newest online venture, you may have seen the clues in the video on the home page of my blog or in the hints I have dropped in various places.
This past Friday, I released into the wild my very first video and today I’d like to officially announce the Jessica Who HD YouTube channel, videos from the mind of Jessica De Leon.
Wait, Why “HD”?
Well, there are two very good reasons that will explain how I chose my channel name, which has existed since July 2009. My first idea was to name in Jessica Who TV, but then I figured everyone would think that the TV stood for transvestite instead of television. I decided on the channel name Jessica Who HD, drawing inspiration from high definition television channels and also because my videos will be filmed with my HD camcorder.
I also love the ring it has, “Jessica Who HD”. It’s easy to say and I feel that it’s a catchy title.
My First Production
Remember when I posted about my first drive out en femme? Well, I just so happened to bring my other camcorder, a Sony Handycam, along for the ride. During the adventure, we kept the camera rolling and I pieced together the best clips to wittle it down to a two and a half minute video, submitted for your approval.
Because the Sony camera has Nightshot Plus, I was able to get good footage at night. My HD camcorder does not have such a feature thus the first video is not in high definition.
My Vision
I have a specific vision when it comes to Jessica Who? HD, and I will be putting the same focus and energy into my videos that I do into my blog. One of my main goals is to make people laugh and smile with my unique brand of comedy and as such my account is registered under the comedian category.
The plan is to regularly release videos but at the moment I’m not sure how often they will be posted. As soon as I get a better handle on the logistics, I will let you know.

Congratulations on your first “attempt” at video. You are daring and really being you. You are a great example for CD’s that fear themselves. I have been a closet CD for many years and always wanted to be just me. I like me and being afraid of others made me mad. Seeing you and your wife being two real live people that are not perfect and do not pretend to be something you are not is fantastic. It helps my whole being to feel you and read you and see you. Please keep it up. You are being an inspiration to all of us looking to be just us.
