I stumbled upon a great article last week that highlighted an interesting and relevant story. A special cross-dressing police force has been created in Japan in an effort to thwart handbag-snatching criminals.
This is quite similar to what police in Bangladesh were doing to stop similar crimes against women.
The “girls in blue” have been donning high heels and designer purses to lure scumbags who prey on women who are seen as weak. However, in order to be both convincing women and effective enforcers, the officers must be young and slender.
Being pretty isn’t enough, though. Only those who are black belts in a major martial art are granted the exclusive privilege of dressing in drag to nab thieves. Apparently, some of them look too good as women and are being solicited for romantic purposes!
Let’s all show our support for these policemen who are giving a whole new meaning to the term “busted”.

Wow, this is hilarious. Imagine what those thieves are gonna think when they get their butts handed to them by a women. I wish I could join that task force, I don’t have a black belt though ( sad face).

Martial arts are handy. At the age of 16 my younger sister was stopped in a pedestrian underpass by two guys who wanted her bag. When they came at her they were somewhat surprised to find that they both got beaten to the ground and she walked nonchalantly away. They forgotten to ask what level she had attained at judo! She had only gave up judo when she became more muscly than me.

Women need protection from certain people all over the world. Japan is like America in many ways. We should send this article to state and federal law enforcement offices. Hey girl, some girls can be cops after all and get the dignity they so rightfully deserve.
