Epic Experiments in Crossdressing – Update #2

by Jessica De Leon on March 3, 2010

cup sizeAnother week has passed and I am a smidgen more than halfway through my first Epic Experiment in Crossdressing, wearing a bra every day for one month. In case you missed the details of the endeavor, the introduction is here. My first recap, written a week after I started, can be found here. Now, onward to updating you all on the details of my second week.

Notes / Pictures

I’ll get this out of the way first — I haven’t been really taking any notes lately, but I know that I should. From here on out I’ll try to jot down my thoughts so that I’m able to fully dissect and share everything that I am experiencing.

I’ve found that the pictures I’m taking aren’t really suitable to share, but posting a couple isn’t totally out of the question.

The Delicate Unmentionables

A few of you wanted to know more details as to *ahem* the tools that would be used in this experiment. I’m more than happy to oblige. I’ve got two from Victoria’s Secret — both of them 36D — one Very Sexy Push Up color Teal and one Cotton polka dot. Additionally, I have a strapless black one from Target (38C) and a “Just My Size” Playtex that is 38holymoly. Finally, I recently purchased the Hanes sports bras (band size 38), one is grey and the other is pink.

The 36D and 38C bras are able to support my size 5 breast forms.

Comfort

For the most part, wearing a brassiere every day has not caused any comfort issues, save for the Playtex one. I wore this one while we took a road trip and on the drive home it was beginning to feel very uncomfortable on me.  I couldn’t wait to get it off!

The Very Sexy Victoria’s Secret bra gives me issues from time to time, namely the underwire digging into me, but other than that it feels terrific.

Working Out

I started exercising again this week and, as mandated by my experiment, I made sure I was wearing the proper undergarment, namely a sports bra. I have to say that it felt very nice on my skin while I was working out, I think because I enjoy tight-fitting clothing when I am working out.

The next day, I decided that I would work out wearing a normal every day bra and while it wasn’t super irritating, I did find myself wishing I had the sports variety on instead. As my workout progressed, the straps and band started to itch my skin a little, but not too much.

Forgetting It’s On

Alright, now this is one feeling that has been pretty amazing. This past week has been chock full of moments in which I’ve forgotten that I was wearing a bra. It’s starting to feel so natural that I hardly even think about it throughout the day. A couple of hours will pass and then a twist or a stretch will remind me of what is underneath my shirts.

A couple of days ago, I thought — for a second — that I wasn’t wearing one at all. I nearly freaked out and then felt my chest, relieved that I hadn’t violated the rules I set forth. This is a testament to how natural wearing a bra is becoming. Although I still am very aware and conscious about making sure it can’t be seen, for the most part it blends in and doesn’t call attention to itself.

Habit Yet?

Even though my bras are starting to feel like a second skin, I can’t honestly say that it has become a full-on mundane routine yet. After a shower, I am still very aware of what I am doing, unlike other things like putting on socks or boxer shorts. In essence, it’s a bit tricky to explain what I mean but I hope that you get the general idea.

My Wife

As I mentioned on Twitter, my wife and I went on a date Friday night. I was so enthralled by her that I didn’t even think twice about the bra I was wearing. Very cool indeed.

So far, Mrs. De Leon hasn’t really said much regarding the experiment — she’s been really busy with work. However, she has been participating by checking me and making sure that I am keeping my blog promise :) . She also comments whenever the push-up bra makes visible bumps in my shirt ;) . When we get some down time I will pick her brain to generate some content for next week’s update.

On To Week 3

So, that about wraps it up for this week. Nothing spectacular, but I am happy that I have honored my commitment thus far. It is very fun and while I still haven’t purchased any new bras, I have been doing quite a bit of window shopping, much to my delight.

I’d like to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been following along and sending me encouragement via comments here, on facebook and on twitter. I really appreciate it all and hope that you are getting lots of enjoyment out of this. Well, here’s to another two weeks! :)

Hey Jessica – thanks for the update. All sounds like fun. I do have a question, particularly about the VS. The Very Sexy line has a lot of form up front. Even with a sweater on, I cannot imagine that bra not changing your profile at least a little.

No issues for you? Or are you really pushing it when you have such a defined cup on?

2 down, 2 to go! Good luck …

I’m sorry, but I gotta say I don’t see what the big deal is. I’ve been wearing a bra (and pantyhose) almost 24/7 for several years now.

That’s definitely something I aim to answer as I complete this endeavor :)
