Wow, it’s been a while since the last Mainstream Crossdressing post, I am happy to be writing a new one. Be on the lookout for several more entries in the coming days and weeks. I forgot how much fun it was scouring the web for any sliver of news relating to cross-dressing.
Martin Lawrence must be a transvestite at heart because he just always seems to end up in a dress! Whether it’s the small screen or Hollywood, he just can’t get enough of getting in touch with his feminine side. Keep reading to find out his next “femmedeavor”.
Variety is reporting that Martin Lawrence will soon begin shooting the next installment of “Big Momma’s House”, a movie franchise that showcases Lawrence as an undercover officer who dresses up like a portly old woman in order to fool guilty criminals. While I thoroughly enjoyed the first ‘Momma’, I was disappointed with the sequel. However, I’m willing to give the third volume of the trilogy a chance.
Lawrence has also played the character ‘Sheneneh’ in his hit self-titled television show and a ‘fake trailer’ turned legitimate movie project.

I am an 88 year old white guy in a retirement community. I could never
come out as a sexy female. I have never come out at all. I had just about
given up, BUT Martin Lawrence has given me an inspiration. Perhaps an old white guy could do a crossdress comedy role. I have done quite
a few roles in amature theatre – detective, indian, but mostly white run
of the mill types like editor Webb in Our Town. I don’t know what, if anything, will evolve but I will keep you posted.

I love the first Big Mama’s House. Especially when the real big mama comes home and says, “This sho is some freaky shit!” and “Not in big mama’s house!”
And yes, Martin MUST love dressing like a woman…I especially liked it when he did his character Shenaynay on ‘Martin’. Too funny.
