Mainstream Crossdressing: Ladybugs (Film)

by Jessica De Leon on June 22, 2010

In honor of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, this is Soccer (Football) Week here at Jessica Who?. Today’s post is about one of my favorite cross-dressing movies of all time, Ladybugs. It is the story about a businessman (Chester) who wants a promotion and is given control of the company soccer team.

The team is disheveled to say the least and Chester comes up with the bright idea of putting Matthew (his beau’s son) onto the team. However, there is one glaring problem — this is an all-girls squad, meaning that Matthew will have to crossdress if he is to join the group.

It’s been a while since I last saw this film but I do have fond memories of it as it was one of the first cross-dressing motion pictures that I came across. I thought that Johnathan Brandis (Matthew) made a good-looking girl and still does.

While I’m not sure if this is a “great” movie, I think that the excellent gender-bending storyline makes it worthy of a viewing.

I enjoyed this film, too. Nicely done, and entertaining – even though it stared Dangerfield. ~~~giggle~~~
