This is a straight up non-subtle satire of the famous speedy YouTube makeup transformation videos. Please note that I do LOVE those types of videos but it is my nature to make fun of everything, including myself .
Products used – MAC Eyeshadows (Woodwinked, shroom) Neutrogena Foundation, Sally Hansen concealer, MAC eyeliner, Maybelline Mascara, some unknown lip gloss

I’ve been tuning in for abouthalf a year, and this is my first response to one of your posts. Thanks for the good laugh this Tuesday morning!
Oh, I can sympathize with the “slowdown”, at least in the fact that it takes me about an hour on average to get my face done to where I’m satisfied. (I’ve only been at it about eight months now, though my own story has been about a quarter-century in the making, and even then, I get dressed up all the way about 3-4 times a month on average, unless I’ve got a lot of time to myself.) – I’ve still got quite a ways to go, as I am a perpetual “work in progress.”
At least getting everything cleaned off takes significantly less time, about as long as the entire video clip. (And yet another opportunity to bring up the “Finn, what is your problem?! It’s just a moist towelette!” line from the Lady Gaga/KISS episode of “glee”.)
I guess it’s good if you can have a good laugh once in a while, even at yourself. ^_^; (And I should pay more attention to the actual YouTube tutorials for any challenges I’m trying to figure out – I’m starting to do so.)
Who knows? Perhaps someday, I’ll be one of the many on camera doing sped-up tutorials eventually. (I think I’ve got a lot of things to take care of before I get to that point – I’m still somewhat in the closet, except for Flickr, LiveJournal and my own blog site.)
