Jake LaMotta, Jack Byrnes, Vito Corleone and Blizzard Man’s Mother. While the last entry in Robert De Niro’s character résumé may not be as popular with the world, it is with me. That’s because for the first time, I saw De Niro in full women’s garb.
Last week he hosted Saturday Night Live and co-starred in a sketch featuring Diddy (as himself), Andy Samberg (as Blizzard Man, a horrible and untalented rapper) and three other cast members as minor characters. De Niro comes in midway as Blizzard Man’s encouraging and frisky mother.

This was a complete surprise to me as I never would have guessed they’d put De Niro in a dress. But, alas, they did and the results were pretty cool. His role as Blizzard Man’s mother was pretty hilarious too, especially because she and Diddy hit it off. I have embedded the video below and set it to start when De Niro makes his entrance.

It’s been a while – that was with Phillip Seymour Hoffman, right? Was De Niro in drag in that?
