The debate over whether the word tranny has been raging for quite some time now. Some say that only those in the transgender community should say it, while others say that nobody should say it.
However, despite what some may think, this situation is not at all unique. In other groups, similar hot-button words are also considered such as the ‘n’ word, the ‘f’ word and the word gay.
As a comedian, I like to play around with stuff like this for multiple reasons. Some may see only the attempt at humor while the more adept ones will see the educational message behind it.
