Eccentric Father Crossdresses For Son

by Jessica Who on June 14, 2011

With Father’s Day approaching this Sunday, ABC News has decided to shine the spotlight on a unique father from Utah.

For 170 (180?) mornings, Dale Price bid adieu to his son and his son’s classmates as they rode off toward school. As a stay at home father, I suppose he fancied this an interesting way to spend his time. I strongly agree.

Though not all of his costumes were published, among the ones that were appeared 3 crossdressing costumes, a practice known on the Internet as crossplay.

Above you saw his Bat Girl outfit, sadly missing a cowl and wig. Next, we are given the fortunate opportunity to see Price as Ariel, The Little Mermaid.

“Under the sea, down where it’s wetter and you can be a crossdresser, take it from me!”

Finally, Dale payed homage to the Star Wars franchise and assumed the identity of the dashing Princess Leia Organa. May the crossforce be with you!

Mr. Price seems like a fun guy and just based on this series of stunts, I’d say he’s probably a pretty good father. I wonder if his son is embarrassed by this or finds it amusing. If he’s a typical teenager, it’s probably the former.

I wonder how many more female costumes Dale dressed up in. Perhaps there will be a follow up to the original ABC News story?
