Some criminals will go to great lengths in order to avoid being captured, but none have gone as far as Mexican citizen Aaron Vera Morales, who underwent plastic surgery to look like a woman.
Wanted for fraud, Vera Morales was eventually captured in Mexico City. He owes over 2 million pesos to a government organization.
Officials have not said whether or not this was a genuine GRS or just an effort to avoid law enforcement agents.
This story of courses raises all sorts of questions, unfortunately the articles I found don’t go into much detail. I am really curious as to Morales’ true motivation for this. Is Morales really trans or was this just an elaborate scheme?

I’m guessing there was some motivation beyond just eluding the authorities. First, Morales could always have just hidden here, as it’s easy enough to get across the border and blend in. Second, 2 million pesos is only about $160,000 US.
To change your looks is one thing, but what I heard was he stole the money. So he could hide in plain sight. There are many reason. But this one I can’t agree on. I believe it can hurt many people . Who change there looks for different reason. But crime is not one of them.
