As you may have noticed, I am a total geek. Yes, I have an affinity for video games, action figures, comic books and all sorts of associated goodness. That’s why when I saw this article highlighting a group of Justice League fans who have taking their cosplay to new levels, I was giddy with excitement. I just had to share it with you all.
The Gender Bent Justice League takes the traditional heroes from the Justice League (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash) and morph them to the other gender.
While technically not crossdressing, I believe the GBJL captures the essence of it and can even hold a deeper meaning if you choose to see it. The conglomerate recently attended San Diego Comic Con and consist of the following:
Superma’am (Superman)
Batma’am (Batman)
Wonder Man (Wonder Woman)
Hunter (Huntress)
Power Guy (Power Girl)
Green Arrow (not a name change, but now female instead of male)
Flash (not a name change, but now female instead of male)
Green Lantern (not a name change, but now female instead of male)
Aqualass (Aquaman)
Vixen (not a name change, but now male instead of female)
Martian Maneater (Martian Manhunter)
Plastic Lass (Plastic Man)

I heard this before and old issue of Superman comics called the turnabout trap. Where Superman thought he accidently he slipped into alterate universe. Where the gender are reversed! But I was trap by a 5th-diamension being called MXYZPTLK don’t ask me. I don’t created the name or being . So turned all the people on the Earth the opposite sex they were born. If you want to know more check out the issue! I think there other gender reverse issue somewhere!
