The Super Bowl is known for two things, great football and entertaining advertisements. It’s not even a question anymore, we are guaranteed to see greatness on this American holiday. This year was no different from any other — some ads were boring, some were lame, but others were pretty cool and funny.
Enter Doritos, the tortilla chip known for its “out there” commercials, who once again ran its “Crash the Super Bowl” contest. Fans are able to make their own Doritos ads with the hopes of winning and being showcased during the Big Game. Who would’ve guessed that a group of cross-dressing men would try to sell you snacks this year.
Officially known as “Fashionista Daddy” (unofficially: “Crossdressing Dad Crunches Chips”), a man is about to play football with his buddies when his daughter asks him to be a princess with her. He tells her about the game but then she offers him some Doritos in exchange, so he has no choice but to accept her offer. I know, flawless logic.
One may be forced to think that it wasn’t the Doritos they wanted, but rather to dress up like pretty princesses.
